Uday Mahurkar is a deputy editor with India Today and a political analyst knownfor the accuracy of his electoral predictions regarding Prime Minister NarendraModi-a task he has performed with aplomb since the 2002 Gujarat assemblypolls, often swimming against the tide. Uday is known as an expert on Modi smind, having followed his political and administrative career closely over the pastthree decades, from the day he entered the BJP from its parent organization,the RSS, in 1986-87. Uday has added to his expertise after he moved to Delhi inDecember 2015 to cover the BJP on a national scale, as well as the RSS andthe Prime Minister s Office, for India Today.
